Holidays & Random Things

I was getting dressed one morning and I looked over and well....Avery found the makeup as you can tell! She was eating it and putting it all over herself! It was pretty funny...
Hugging cousin Olivia....Avery loves "e uh" as she calls her.

Avery loves Kay Kay

and she thinks it is really funny to play with the water dispenser and then splash around in the puddles it makes.
I just had to take this the other day. I walked into her room and she was sleeping with one foot up...pretty funny.
Thanksgiving!
Avery loves Poppy!
She also loves to swing and say "weeeeeeee"

Avery is now 19 months. Very hard to believe! It is also hard to believe that I am already 23 weeks pregnant with our little boy. We had a great holiday...we took a vacation to Palm Beach and Avery LOVED the water, and loved spending time with her cousin Olivia. We spent Christmas in Chicago and it snowed of course. We went to church on Christmas Eve in Hinsdale and Avery got to be an angel in the play/live nativity. She didn't really want to go up to the front of the church though so she just sat with mom. Olivia was sick on Christmas Eve and made an ER visit for a high fever...she was missed at Church as they were looking for a baby to be Baby Jesus....she would have been perfect! We came back home on Christmas evening and celebrated with the triplets the day after this year. We had such a fun time and spend lots of time with family, which is what the holidays are all about. SMU even made a bowl appearance - which was not a good game...but another reason to cheer them on.

It amazes me everyday how much Avery learns. So far she can sing the ABC's to the letter G, and we can identify A-D most of the time at least. We have been working on potty training, but not made much progress. I didn't want to get to heavy into it during the holidays so we will work hard on it in the next few months. She loves to go to the potty now because she gets to sit on the potty and look at the sticker book! She still loves to read and especially loves to push her new baby in the stroller that Uncle John and Aunt Christine bought it for Christmas. We love you, Avery!
